Founded in 2001 by passionate kiteboarder Dave Kay (DK) and developed into a premium manufacturer with the help of his partner Su Kay. This enthusiastic couple not only ride and sell the boards, but they craft them themselves in their 200sqm factory in Ruakaka in the north of New Zeealand.

Decay Kiteboards are mostly made from New Zealand grown Paulownia and New Zealand made Epoxy Resin. Where possible all other materials are sourced from local suppliers.

Decay Kiteboards specialise in making CUSTOM kiteboards, but are not restricted by it - with another production series being released for the 09/10 season.
